Who we are...

The Paranormal Research Institute of Texas is a privately funded organization dedicated to the scientific examination and documentation of paranormal anomalous activity (“Things that go bump in the night”), as well as the laboratory study of parapsychological (PSI) phenomena. We also serve our clients as a support and educational resource to help them deal with the stresses these phenomena can create.

We are a privately funded organization, our services are free to the public.

How we can assist you...

Do you believe your house or workplace is haunted? Are you witnessing events that you would classify as paranormal? If you’ve found this website, it is likely that you would answer “yes” to one or both of these questions. And if your answer is “yes”, your entire life may be in complete turmoil as a result.

If the above describes you, P.R.I. Texas would like to help you. Actually, we can help you a little right now. How? By reassuring you of the following:

• You’re not crazy, and 90% of all reported paranormal phenomena are perfectly “normal” events with rational explanations.
   
• If the phenomena you are experiencing is paranormal, it most likely poses no threat to you or anyone else. Contrary to what we see in the movies or read in novels, these phenomena are usually harmless. The instances of potentially harmful “hauntings” are very rare, and many researchers have conducted hundreds of investigations over many decades and never encountered a hostile situation.
